Test to Release by ExpressTest
Test to Release is a new scheme recently launched by the UK Government to reduce quarantine time for travellers arriving in England.
Passengers arriving in England can now reduce their required self-isolation period from 10 to 5 days, if they test negative for Covid-19 through a registered Test to Release facility.
Passengers who wish to opt into the scheme should take a test 5 full days after arrival in England, if the country they are travelling from is not on the UK Government’s travel corridor list. For a full list of countries and restrictions click here.
ExpressTest is one of the UK Government’s approved Test to Release providers, and we will be offering this service at our testing centres at Heathrow and Gatwick airports from mid-January 2021.
